Major/Highlighted Events
- Specter Litt temporarily retains its name despite the acquisition of Robert Zane as name partner, as neither he nor Harvey Specter have decided whether to rename the firm as Zane Specter Litt or Specter Litt Zane.
- Robert uses Mike Ross' old office, although he butts heads with Harvey as he wishes to become the firm's managing partner. Louis Litt informs them that two of their clients have a conflict of interest; Harvey and Robert declare that whoever can get their respective clients to drop the conflicting division would become managing partner, although both secretly conspire to have the other's division dropped.
- Robert enlists the aid of his right-hand man, Samantha Wheeler, to have Harvey's client drop their division. With Mike gone, Harvey uses Alex Williams as his proxy, informing Alex that if he wants him to deliver on his promise of being the firm's next name partner, he would do his best to defeat Samantha. Fearful that Alex may lose, Harvey intervenes, and while he wins, he ends up proving to the firm that he is not management material.
- Samantha reminds Robert that he had promised her to make her name partner, and he reassures her that she would be the firm's next name partner. However, she adds that the promotion is to happen before the end of the year.

- Harvey steps down as managing partner and relinquishes the role to Robert, and asks for his old office back.
- Louis Litt assigns Katrina Bennett the task of finding out who the ten worst associates are so that they can be fired, although an issue arises when Katrina reveals that Brian Altman is in the bottom ten. Despite Louis' explicit orders, Katrina fires Brian, although Louis reverses the decision, while Donna Paulsen convinces Katrina that Brian is worthwhile to the firm.

Quotes
Robert: Jesus Christ, what have I got myself into? Harvey: I'll tell you what. You got yourself into Zane Specter Litt. Robert: Or Specter Zane Litt. Either way... Harvey and Robert: [at the same time] Litt comes last. |
Harvey: Hey. Wanna go out and get a burger? Robert: I do. But it's 2:00 a.m. If I go out for a burger right now, the only thing I'm getting is a divorce. Harvey: Copy that. I'll get you one from the kitchen. Robert: Yeah, meet me downstairs. Hide it in the gift bag or some shit. |
Louis: Thanks for your concern about Sheila and me. Katrina: Louis, you know I care for you deeply in a completely asexual manner. Louis: And I too care for you deeply and see you neither as man nor woman. Katrina: Thank you, Louis. Kinder words were never spoken. |
Louis: [to Katrina] What the fuck is your problem? I gave you an order and you blatantly ignored me. |
