"Pearson Specter can keep Pfizer, and all you have to do is come back here with every other client you have."
"That's what you wanted all along, isn't it? You had your client go after mine to put me in the position of having to screw Harvey over."
"That's right. That agreement may have stopped me from poaching, but there's always a workaround. So which is it, stay there a diminished man without your best client or come back here where you belong?
"

Louis Litt and Alex Williams[src]

During the events of "Donna", Alex Williams is able to record an incriminating statement made by Eli on Louis Litt's Dictaphone.[1] This was then used in "Good-Bye" in an attempt to strongarm him into offering jobs to the former partners of Pearson Specter Litt after Mike Ross's fraud conviction. However, this fails after it is revealed that Stanley Gordon has something worse on him. In the end, the lawsuit ends with Robert Zane joining Specter Litt to prevent it from going under.[2]

Eli returns again in "Motion to Delay", when Louis again confronts him, this time attempting to use his leverage to force him to persuade Thomas Bratton to drop his case against Zane Specter Litt. Eli refuses to give in to blackmail, but later visits the firm to offer a negotiated settlement. The firm refuses, and they later find out that Bratton is dying of cancer. However, Bratton dies unexpectedly of a heart attack, after which Eli drops the lawsuit.[3]
