Leah is the younger sister of Jessica Pearson. In "Derailed" she was contacted by Jeff Malone for assistance so that he could plan a Paris getaway with her. In "Intent", she is invited to a restaurant by Jessica, where the pair discuss Malone. Leah likens Jessica's attitude to that of their father, a high-profile surgeon who prioritized work over personal commitments. Leah tells Jessica that since Jeff loved her so much, unless she did something extremely horrible, the pair should still be able to mend their relationship.
