History[]
- "There was that vacation you invited me on last year... to your new house in the Bahamas. A house you bought with money you stole from this firm. My firm."
"Jessica–"
""Jessica" what?"
"You can't use any of this. We have attorney-client privilege."
"With Dreibach Accounting, yes. With the shelf companies? No. And unfortunately for you, you're listed on the shelf companies."
"You stole from me. You either come clean now or the only time you'll see your children in the next decade will be during prison visiting hours." - ―Jessica Pearson, Tori and Harvey Specter
Tori was the CEO of Dreibach Accounting, an accounting firm that handled the finances for half of Wall Street, as well as law firms, including Pearson Hardman. However, Tori created several shelf companies and billed her clients for management services, in order to embezzle funds from them. In 2006, she created Aberdeen Solutions to siphon money from her clients, and around the same time, she discovered that Stan Jacobson did not have a degree, although she chose to ignore it as he was useful. In 2010, she used money she stole from Pearson Hardman to purchase a summer home in the Bahamas, and invited Jessica Pearson for a vacation.
In 2011, her employer Paula O'Neill approaches Stan as she believed something was not right about Aberdeen, causing Tori to fire her. O'Neill then filed a wrongful termination suit, and with Stan now suspicious, informed Pearson Hardman that Stan's credentials were falsified, asking them to fire him. However, with the help of Stan and Mike Ross, Harvey Specter was able to prove Tori's crimes. After being threatened with jail time, Tori came clean about her embezzlement, and was subsequently sued by Pearson Hardman.[1]
