"I may be a tech head, but I'm not oblivious. This firm just went through a battle, and I know it."
"Are you telling me that you don't trust me to put your needs above the firm's?"
"No, I've always trusted you, Harvey. I'm just saying I don't... I think you might be too distracted to give me the best advice.
"

History[]

"Let me look over the deal. My own time. If it is what she says it is, I'll tell you. If it's not, you'll want to know."
"Harvey, I already told you–"
"Look. You said we weren't focused, and I'm not here to try to convince you that we were. But you also said you've always trusted me, and I'm telling you, trust me one more time."
Harvey Specter and Trent Devon[src]

Trent Devon is the founder of his own internet company and a client of Harvey Specter. Following Pearson Hardman's civil war against Daniel Hardman, Allison Holt approached Trent Devon, offering a deal where the hedge fund she represents would buy a controlling interest in a rival firm that Trent would be able to run, under the condition that his company did not go public. Trent was informed by Allison not to notify Harvey, citing that Harvey may discourage Trent from taking the deal just to retaliate against her.

When Trent informed Harvey that he was reconsidering Harvey's advice and being Harvey's client, Harvey tasked Mike Ross with finding out ways to solve the issue. Mike informed Harvey that Trent was being poached by Allison, and figured out what Allison's true intentions were. Harvey convinced Trent to let him see the paperwork for Allison's deal, and gave it to Mike, who in turn enlisted the aid of Louis Litt. After realizing that Allison's deal was meant to dissolve his company, Trent refused, sticking with Harvey, who managed to sign the hedge fund Allison represented, making them his own client.[1]
